It’s almost summer!
With Summer Camp just around the corner, and with the start of our Summer Staff Training coming even faster, I have a bummer of an announcement <insert announcement song here!>. After today’s post, there will be only two more blogs posted before the Camp Gray Blog Team takes a 3-month Summer Camp blogging sabbatical. However, throughout Summer Camp, we’ll be keeping YOU, our loyal supporters of Camp Gray, up to speed on all things Camp Gray on our facebook, twitter, instagram, & YouTube pages.
With that being said, we have a few bits of important information for you…
This Saturday, May 10th, the Camp Gray crew will be pulling on our work gloves and lacing up our work boots as we get Camp spruced up during our annual spring Work Day. Lots of work needs to be done in order to prepare the grounds for Summer Camp 2014, and we could certainly use your help! Thanks in advance for considering joining us. Work Day runs from 9:00am – 3:00pm. If you’d like to join us early, Fr. Greg Ihm will be celebrating Mass in Camp’s St. Francis of Assisi Chapel at 8:15am. We hope to see you there!
The very next day, May 11th, we invite YOU to join us at our annual spring Open House. Come meet the staff, tour the grounds, and learn about all the great things that take place at Camp Gray! Our Mother’s Day Open House runs 11:00am – 2:00pm. As we’re always looking to spread the word about Camp Gray, please consider bringing friends and family!
Lastly, if you didn’t see last week’s blog about Ford, a longtime former camper and staffer, I highly recommend that you check it out! He’s doing something really, really cool for Camp Gray, and he could use your help!
Thanks for your great support of Camp Gray!
