Camp Gray Mission:
Camp Gray invites people of all ages to encounter Jesus Christ in all creation, experience a fun and vibrant Catholic community, and be challenged to ever more deeply know, love, and serve God and neighbor.
Camp Gray, located in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Madison, and is funded by the generous support of our patrons and donors. We have 225 beautiful acres that we love to share. We are a co-ed, overnight summer camp and school-year retreat center. Camp Gray is dedicated to enriching the spiritual lives of youth and combining faith, friends, and fun.
During the summer we offer numerous programs for campers ranging from 2nd through 12th grade. Camp sessions typically last one week (with a couple of two-week sessions available for older campers and a couple of shorter sessions for our younger campers). Camp Gray is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association. ACA Accreditation means that Camp Gray cares enough for your child to undergo a thorough (over 300 standards) review of our operation – from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. ACA collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, and American Red Cross, and other youth service agencies to assure that the practices at Camp Gray reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation.
Camp Gray and ACA form a partnership that promotes summers of growth and fun in an environment committed to safety. Camp Gray is one of the premiere Catholic youth camps in the country.
Camp Gray is also a retreat center and offers a number of programs during the school year. We offer facilitated retreats on confirmation, environmental stewardship, team building, and spiritual growth.
Groups including family reunions, youth groups, school classes, ski groups, and more, also stay at camp throughout the year. They find that camp is a comfortable and relaxing place to hold their events. Lodging, meeting space, and food service are all available.
