Currently, we are hiring for the following positions:
Guest Group Director / Summer Camp Assistant Director
Reports To: Executive Director Housing: On-Site
General Function: The Guest Group Director is responsible for the coordination, planning, and preparation for all Camp Gray guest groups during the school year. This position also plays a large role in the preparation and facilitation of summer camp programming. This position will spend time assisting in other operational duties such as summer staff recruitment, community outreach, and aid in facilitated retreats when needed. This position will promote the mission of Camp Gray: To Know Christ and Make Him Known.
Principal Activities:
- Work collaboratively with guest groups to book spaces and walk groups through the leasing process
- Assure the readiness of Camp’s facilities for guest groups prior to their arrival
- Responsible for greeting all guest groups and their orientation in collaboration with Hospitality Managers
- Aid in the planning and preparation for creative, mission-driven summer staff training and summer camp programming
- Support and have a presence in the summer staff recruitment and hiring process
- Serve on larger facilitated retreats as a third retreat director
- Willingness to work occasional weekends during school year when facilitating retreats
- Willingness to take on long days in the summer during the facilitation of summer camp programming
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Catholic retreat and/or summer camp programming
- Practicing Catholic with a strong personal faith
Compensation:
- Salary: Beginning Salary up to $35,000/year; Commensurate with Experience
- Housing and Utilities Included with Position
