Join Camp Gray staff on an adventure retreat of a lifetime!
Camp Gray is leading two young adult trips in 2019: Backpacking the Superior Hiking Trail and Paddling the Boundary Waters. Each trip will include two Camp Gray guides and a priest. Click here to see some photos from our 2018 Backpacking Trip.
Details for Paddling Boundary Waters Trip:
What: A week long adventure retreat Paddling the Boundary Waters with Fr. Dave Carrano
Where: Boundary Waters
When: Evening of Friday August 23-August 31st, 2019
Who: Post-College Young Adults
Costs: $600 – this includes all transportation from Camp Gray, trail food, group gear, and permits. All other costs (travel to Camp Gray, personal gear, etc.) are the responsibility of the retreatant.
Packing List: Young Adult Backpacking Packing List
Gear: While group gear will be provided by Camp Gray, personal gear such as a backpacks, sleeping bags, or other personal items will be the responsibility of the retreatant. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have questions about gear. Camp Gray has a limited amount of personal gear that can be loaned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Itinerary (subject to minor changes):
August 23rd: Arrive at Camp Gray in the evening. Gather/pack gear, and get to know fellow retreatants.
August 24th: Leave for Boundary Waters
August 24th-August 30th: Paddling on trail experiencing a wonderful time of retreat and adventure
August 31st: Return to Camp Gray

When: Arrive Evening of Friday July 26-August 3rd, 2019
Who: Post-College Young Adults
