Voyageurs

A Camp Gray Voyageur trip can be arduous, but few things are as joyful.

Is it time for a trip up north?

Voyageurs leave Camp Gray for week-long canoe and hiking trips in the woods, rivers, and lakes of Wisconsin and Michigan that challenge body and soul.  We’ll practice “leave no trace” camping ethics, and survive in the wilderness, camping in tents, and cooking our own food. You’ll be guided by specially trained Voyageur counselors who will teach you all these important skills and protect your physical and emotional well-being.  Come share in the adventure and join us for a Voyageur trip.  If you elect to take part in our canoe trip, you’ll be spending the week canoeing down the beautiful Flambeau River.  The Flambeau river snakes through a beautiful state forest and has some of the most fun rapids in Wisconsin.  If your trip choice is our hiking trip, then you’ll be heading up north to the Porcupine Mountains in the Upper Peninsula or Michigan.  The “Porkies” is an old-growth forest which has rugged terrain and beautiful scenery.
