Why a new dining hall at Camp Gray?
Many repairs would have been needed to simply keep the old dining hall and kitchen open, though those efforts would do nothing to solve the need for increased space. Our new dining hall will create opportunities to expand capacity for more program offerings – and more life-changing experiences. The new dining hall will:
- Handle increased volume of summer campers
- Increase winter dining capacity from 60 to 320
- Adds a larger storm shelter for camper safety
- Includes a basement for games and arts in bad weather
