We have a handful of CDs still available in the Camp Canteen Store, or you can buy Bless Us for the Journey on iTunes!

By: Chris “Topher” Aderhold

Sure, Bless Us for the Journey hasn’t quite gone Platinum yet, but we’ve been very happy with the success of Camp Gray’s first music album (plus, a smart man* once told me that Christian albums can’t go Platinum – instead they go Gold, Frankincense, or Myrrh… I’m guessing, at this rate, our sales are hovering around “Myrrh”.).

Of course, we don’t define the success of our album strictly by the number of CDs sold. We define success by hearing from you, our Camp family, that the CD has accomplished its stated goal – to aid you in keeping the vibrancy and fun of Camp Gray alive all year long! It wouldn’t matter if the CD actually did go Platinum if it failed at this goal.

Thank you to the many people who have shared kind words about the CD – we’re humbled by the support of this unique and exciting project. Also, thanks to all those that have spread the word about the CD – helping us to put the beauty of Camp Gray in the hands of even more people!

Helping to spread the word recently in a big way was Tim Heiney of Madison’s Relevant Radio. Tim had me come onto his weekly show to talk about the CD, and to close the interview, he played track 1, “The Camp Gray Song!” Big thanks to Tim for his support of Bless Us for the Journey!

Camp Gray made it on the radio! What’s next? A live performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon? We’ll keep you posted!
